This picture of Tim's Father hangs in his shop, I think it reminds him of how long his own passion for bikes has been, and also his roots. Tim and his brother both worked for their Father's service station and garage in Ft. Macleod, Alberta. Tim was a natural mechanic and he eventually branched out into bikes. His brother Peter bought the business and operated it when their Father retired.
Sideline Motorcycles was started by Tim in 1988 in a small garage at his home in Diamond City. As the business grew, Tim moved to a shop in Lethbridge for a few years. But again, he required more space eventually as the business grew again. In 2005 he moved to the shops current location on Highway 3. November 15th will mark the 5th anniversary at this location. The shop is located on an acreage where Tim and his family also live. Please see the security page.
Below are a few pictures of Tim when he took his course at Harley Davidson back in the day. He certainly looks different today. Nice picture of Tim and Willie Davidson.
